Friday afternoon at the Energy Fair will feature folk duo Patchouli. Together since 1993, Bruce Hecksel and Julie Patchouli blend the idea of cultures, music, environment, and theology into the positive vibrations of Patchouli music.

They are a songwriting powerhouse duo with 12 CD’s, over 1800 performances, and over half a million miles touring under their belts. Their contagious onstage chemistry coupled with formidable instrumental prowess has made them a favorite nationwide.

Featuring the World Premier of the Renewsical: A Musical About Renewable Energy

Join us Saturday afternoon for the Renewsical, an interactive stage performance that teaches the technology of energy efficiency, sustainability and renewable energy in order to inspire action toward a healthy economy, cleaner environment, and a brighter future.

Featuring MREA's Administrative Assistant and singer extraordinaire, Katrina Shankland, the performance uses dancing, music, poetry, and puppetry to convey topics like solar and wind power, solar domestic hot water, alternative transportation, healthy natural systems, biomass, geo-thermal heating and cooling, and healthy local food.

Canon Ball

On Saturday evening join us for Central Wisconsin supergroup, Canon Ball. Led by local troubadour, Ed Lemar and featuring MREA Facilities Manager, Mike White, Canon Ball is a multi-talented genre-crossing variety show. Join Canon Ball for roots rock, bluegrass, and maybe even a song of the sea. Good music and good times, ahoy!

Sunday afternoon the Energy Fair will feature the dynamic duo of Galynne and Markondrums: Groovy Tunes. Conscious Lyrics. Pay it Forward Pop. 

With guitar in hand, Galynne Goodwill's soulful clear voice, balanced by the versatile, dynamic percussion of Mark Riggenbach makes for a surprisingly filled out sound.
