Off-site Training in 2010

This year, MREA has expanded its effort to partner with outside organizations to offer training on an expanded regional basis. Working with tech colleges, state organizations, and other like-minded non-profits, these training offerings are an opportunity for people in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin to attend workshops at venues more close to home. The host organizations handle registration, while MREA provides instructors and curriculum on a contractual basis. Please use the contact info included in the schedule here to sign up for the workshops.

Renewable Energy Programs for Kids

We Energies and the MREA are offering free, curriculum-based renewable energy programs for middle school students in the We Energies electric service territory. Trained MREA instructors will travel to your school and teach a hands-on science lesson in the classroom. This program is for grades 4-8. Programs are offered Monday-Thursday beginning March 8. One program per classroom will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
