It will also keep you up to date on the activities of the MREA, including the Renewable Energy and Sustainable Living Fair, and our workshops.The newsletter is a free publication for all MREA members. Issue 1: Earth Day Special & Fair PreviewThis issue will contain articles that focus on obtainable actions that readers can take to improve the earth. Earth Day celebrations around the Midwest will be highlighted. Listing of funding resources, websites, and organizations make this newsletter a year round resource. It will also provide readers with a “sneak preview” of the Renewable Energy and Sustainable Living Fair, including pre registration materials.
Issue 2: Fair Program IssueIssue #2 serves as the program guide for the Renewable Energy and Sustainable Living Fair. It contains everything people need to know to get to, and enjoy, the world’s largest renewable energy educational event. It is distributed to thousands of fairgoers who have a serious interest in renewable energy, and is used as a business directory throughout the year.
Issue 3: Renewable Homes IssueThis issue highlights how homeowners are incorporating renewable energy into their buildings and lives. Articles and case studies focus on how renewable energy works in the Midwest. This issue also serves as the program for the annual Wisconsin Tour of Solar Buildings, and includes descriptions and directions to over 100 homes throughout the state. Information on tours across the nations is also included.
This issue will focus on the nuts and bolts of how renewable energy systems work and are installed. It will include product reviews, articles on successful installations, and helpful information to get people started on installing their own system. Incorporated within this issue will be the MREA course catalog of workshops for the upcoming year.
